Laser Glass Cutting
Precision Glass Cutting
in Singapore
Chip-free laser cutting for float glass, borosilicate, display glass, optical glass and more. Clean edges without mechanical stress — from thin 0.3 mm film glass to 19 mm thick panels, all processed in our Singapore facility.
What We Do
Cutting Capabilities
Our CO₂ laser system is optimised for glass — controlled thermal scribing and full-cut modes deliver chip-free edges without the micro-cracks of mechanical cutting.

Cutting Tolerance
Dimensional accuracy across float, borosilicate and display glass in both scribing and full-cut modes.
±0.1mm

Max Sheet Size
Full standard glass sheet processed in one pass. Minimises handling and repositioning errors.

Glass Thickness Range
Thin 0.3 mm display glass to 19 mm architectural panels. Parameters adjusted per glass type and thickness.
0.3 – 19mm

Edge Quality
Chip-free, fire-polished edges with no micro-crack propagation. Significantly better than diamond wheel or waterjet on glass.
Ra ≤1.6

Laser Type
CO₂ laser at 10.6 μm wavelength — absorbed efficiently by glass. No plasma formation, minimal HAZ.
150W CO₂

Complex Shapes
Circles, arcs, internal cutouts, custom profiles — direct from DXF. No mechanical tooling or fixture changes.

Glass Types We Cut
10+ glass types processed in-house. Each material has different thermal properties — our parameters are tuned per type to prevent stress fractures and edge chipping.

Quality Check
Dimensional verification. First-off approval for new jobs; batch sampling for repeats.
Delivery
Same-day dispatch for in-stock jobs. Local Singapore delivery or self-collect.
What Makes Our Glass Cutting Different
Glass is unforgiving — one wrong parameter and the sheet cracks. Our process is tuned per material, not one-size-fits-all.

Services That Work Well Together
Glass cutting is often the first step. Here’s what pairs well downstream.
Laser Engraving
Etch logos, part numbers, scales, or decorative patterns onto the cut glass surface.
PI Film Cutting
Polyimide and flexible circuit substrates cut with the same chip-free precision.
Non-Metal Cutting
Acrylic, PC, ceramics and composites cut alongside glass in the same production run.
Laser Cleaning
Remove coatings, residues or contamination from glass surfaces without abrasives.
FAQ
Glass Cutting Questions
Can you cut tempered or toughened glass?
No — tempered glass cannot be cut after toughening. The internal stress that gives it strength causes the entire sheet to shatter when the surface is scored. Glass must be cut to final shape first, then sent for tempering. We can cut annealed float glass to your dimensions before it goes to a tempering furnace.
What is the thinnest glass you can cut?
Can you cut circular or irregular shapes in glass?
Do you supply the glass or do I need to provide it?
What is the typical lead time for glass cutting?
How is the cut glass packaged to prevent breakage in delivery?
